Welcome back for the new 2010 / 2011 season!
We hope everyone had a great summer & ready to return to the court. Ned & his staff have been busy getting ready for the new season and look forward to welcoming everyone back.
We will be distributing flyers throughout West Niagara to promote the Niagara Thunder Basketball program and hope to see some new faces this year. 'Click here' to get a copy.
We are now accepting registrations for the Fall Basketball School starting on September 18th. 'Click here' to get the form. Basketball school focuses on developing individual player skills and will lead into our winter basketball programs.
Those players interested in our Thunder travel program will be evaluated during the school session. Teams will be formed dependant on the number of players in each age group. As always every effort will be made to try to place everyone on a team. The Thunder travel program will start immediately after the fall school session.
NOTE: Final team selection will be completed before the end of the fall basketball school session in November to ensure that the teams are registered with the OBA in time for upcoming tournaments. Players must be registered in the school to be considered for a travel team.
Due to the success of the summer fun league a new winter fun league will be offered this fall as well for players who are interested in playing basketball in a fun & relaxed atmosphere. The format will be the same as the summer league and will be dependant on the number of players registered. 'Click here' to get the registration form.

2010 ONTARIO CUP U10 NOVICE, U11 ATOM & U12 MAJOR ATOM GIRLS' RESULTS.
On March 26 to 28th, Chatham hosted the U10 Novice girls while the U11 Atom girls played in Orillia and the U12 Major Atom girls competed in Etobicoke/Mississauga. In all, nearly 130 teams from across the province competed in the three age categories (14 divisions) in a quest to have fun, play fair and to bring home a gold medal.
