The Niagara Thunder Basketball Club would like to invite all interested players to be a part of our Thunder family. We proudly serve the Western Niagara Region of Ontario (Beamsville, Grimsby, Smithville and surrounding areas) and host practices, games and high-profile tournaments in local schools. Niagara Thunder is a non-profit association, which donates funds back to the community through local schools, churches and charitable organizations.
Niagara Thunder Basketball Club offers developmental as well as rep programs for boys and girls ages 5-18 years of age. Our main focus is on skill development, team building, and leadership. We embrace the 'fair play principles' and allow each player to build confidence in their abilities so their personal team role is fulfilled.
For those new to basketball, feel free to join our Summer basketball league or one of our camp programs. We also offer a developmental 'basketball school' for all ages in the Fall. These sessions are organized to target specific skills and are run by our qualified team of travel coaches. Our rep teams participate in the Niagara league and many OBA sanctioned tournaments as well as the Provincial championships in the Spring. All of our players are instructed by a team of highly qualified coaches who have a passion for the game and for teaching our youth.
